Track Cycling Coaching

It’s my intention to become a more all round coach and feel the need to get qualified in coaching track cyclists. Having been a track cyclist myself for many years starting off at the now defunct Paddington Track in West London when I was a teenager. I’ve riiden quite a few of the outside tracks in the London area and what with the London Velodrome opening I hope in 2014 to the general public I’m sure there will be a demand for coaches in this establishement.

But I want a British Cycling level 3 qualification parallel to my level 3 road and time trial. So I’m embarking on this course of work starting off with a level 2 qualification firstly which is necessary before you sign up to the level 3 course. The weekend of the 1 and 2 June will see me travelling down to Newport – South Wales to attend the level 2 course. I’ll let you know how I get on.
