Winter Shoes
Cold feet, the curse of the winter cyclist. Like many I suffer from this affliction and cold hands come to mention it. The other week, I made an excursion up town with my bike with the intention of visiting a bike shop to buy some decent winter shoes. But came away disappointed. All on offer were too lightweight.
I’ve always been a Shimano shoe man, as the size 44 suits me perfectly. So I didn’t want to detract from this manufacturer. Normally, I wear heavy weight MTB shoes with covers, but after a season always despite the make the covers self destruct. So had to consider something else.
To cut a long story short, I purchased the Shimano MTB boot made from Gortex. What a wonderful product, boy do they keep my tootsies toasty. Roll on the icy blast.
