Reg Harris

For my birthday, my wife Lesley, presented me with The Rise and Fall of Britain’s greatest cyclist – Reg Harris by Robert Dineen. I found it entertaining especially the early years of his pro career. Not sure he fell very far though as in later life he seemed very comfortably off, not that I blame him as he worked for it. With John Terry in the news for allegedly having his way with a teamates girlfriend and the public horrified. Was Reg any better with his indiscretions? Nice photos, of his Raleigh bikes though. Makes me now want to finally finish restoring my 1950’s RRA – Raleigh Record Ace
