I rode this excellent event yesterday Sunday 31 August with coached ride, Phil Skinner. Phil is miles faster than me, but despite that we rode around at an excellent pace of 17.5 MPH up hill and down dale which isn’t too bad. And for my age, I achieved gold standard which was very pleasing. This despite a puncture and few mechanicals.
