A fine 6th place last night for coached rider Rory in the weekly Tuesday Hillingdon RR league in the 3/4 event. With some more fortune a win may have been secured, well done Rory

Over the past weekend I took the trip up to the Manchester Velodrome to commence my BC Level 3 track course. Very informative and rewarding. And expertly tutored by Marshall Thomas who made the entire event very enjoyable, so congratulations to him. Now it’s the hard work over the next few months to get qualified.
Nice to see I received some good feedback from this extremely go ahead club from last Saturday’s session as follows: Hi John Really good feedback from both groups. Great results for coached riders in yesterday’s race. Jon Page (pictured)Watford Velo took 8th place in the 4th cats race. And Anthony Jarrett- Finsbury Park CC, sprinted into an excellent second place in the 3rd cat race. Brilliant well done gentlemen, keep it coming.
Great result for coached ride Phil last night in the Welwyn Wheelers 10 mile time trial on a test course not a fast course by any means. Phil raced round in 23min 45 seconds beating 24mins for the first time. Brilliant Phil, well deserved for the hard work you have put in.
Another fine placing for Zack Williamson in this series held on Thursday evening. A solo break by Dillon Burne which he held to the finish after being out on his own for 18 laps, won the race. Zack and Martin Wolfindon made an attack with 2 laps left with Zack winning the fight to line…

When Jon, first came round my house, it’s not too unkind to say he was tad porky and didn’t seem the type of guy to become a good cyclist. How wrong I was. He’s lost shed loads of weight and become faster and faster. Taking up racing he packs a very useful sprint and I…
