Sunday Chilterns Ride

First proper ride today, Sun 21 April, post Plantar Faciitis. The sun was shining and it was a pleasure to be out on the bike, low gears were the order of the day though. Encountered loads of cyclists in the lanes all very cheerful and welcoming, terrific. Glad to report no repercussions. Upon arriving home, switched on the London Marathon, and witnessed the amount of suffering endured. 26 years ago I ran this event. but never again as warned by the doctor, running is now out for ever in case I trigger off the condition again. And finally on this condition, full marks to the NHS and my local Watford General hospital, I couldn’t ask for better care, thanks very much to all the staff.
