I visited the velodrome last weekend to watch the Revolution meeting. Fabulous facility. And whilst still there I had a peek at the ultra smooth road circuit which is floodlit.
I’ve no doubt with this facilities in place, we will develop more future champions, bring it on.

I rode this event over the weekend with Phil Skinner one of the riders I coach, who is frightenly fit, organised by the Marlow Riders. Marvellous event supported by a full field of 600 riders. After the thorough soaking, I decided to enter next years event along with thousands of others. Hopefully I’ll be successful but won’t hear until next February.
Following on from last weekend’s Harp Hilly its the turn of Team Quest’s reliability trial this Sunday 100 odd Kilometres of Chiltern hills. So another painful experience to savour all in the quest (sorry for the pun) in gaining fitness. Forecast wise it’s looks poor with plenty of rain (there’s a surprise) and gales. So…
