Over the years much has changed especially the traffic and in the London area in particular. So much so, I suppose it does put me off a bit riding on the road and the popularity of the home trainer is sometimes more appealing.
Can you forge a winter base using this equipment as opposed to “getting the miles in” well yes you can.

First race of the season this weekend at Hillingdon, organised by Team Quest. For us vets there is a over 50’s race so that will be interesting. I’m certain it will be a struggle now that I’ve got a full blown sore throat, but hopefully won’t be too bad.
