Changing Text Size
Choose from the following Windows web browsers for step-by-step instructions on how to increase the size of the text on any web page on this site that you are viewing:
Internet Explorer 7 or 8
- Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by pressing ' Alt'+'P ' .
- Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing ' X '.
- Choose your preferred text size by clicking on it or by using the up and down arrow keys to select it and then press 'Enter'.
Firefox 2 or 3
- Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by press ' Alt ' and ' V ' at the same time.
- Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing 'Z' .
- Increase or decrease the text size with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing ' Enter '.
- Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
Apple Safari
- Open the ' View ' menu with the mouse or by press ' Alt ' and ' V ' at the same time.
- Select the ' Text Size ' option with the mouse or by pressing the cursor (arrow) keys.
- Increase the text sixe by selecting "Make Text Bigger.
- Decrease the text sixe by selecting "Make Text Smaller .
- Change the text size back to normal size by selecting "Make Text Normal Size"
- Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
Google Chrome
- Click the Page menu, point to Text zoom and then select the required text size.
- Alternatively you can press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
